Natasha Richardson was the daughter of the well known actress Vanessa Redgrave and director and producer Tony Richardson. She was herself a critically acclaimed actress, receiving a Theater World Award for her performance on Broadway in Anna Christie, the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical, the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical and the Outer Critics Circle Award. Some of her best movies include Patty Hearst, The Handmaid's Tale, Nell, The Parent Trap and Maid in Manhattan. She died in 2009 due to a head injury caused by a fall during skiing.
